- You give us: name, shipping/billing address, email, phone, order details, and anything you send us in messages or reviews.
- Payment info: processed directly by Stripe. We don’t store your full card number on our servers.
- Automatically: IP address, device/browser, pages viewed, referring site, and shopping behavior, collected via cookies, pixels, and analytics tools.
- From partners: we may receive information about you from advertising, analytics, and marketing partners and combine it with what we already have.
How we use your information
We use your information for any lawful business purpose, including to:
- Process, fulfill, and support your orders and send related notifications;
- Market to you — send promotions, new-product announcements, restock alerts, and special offers about Reel Good Bait and related products, by email, SMS (where you’ve opted in), and other channels;
- Personalize your experience and the offers and ads you see;
- Build audiences and run and measure advertising on platforms like Google and Meta (Facebook/Instagram), including showing you ads based on your activity;
- Analyze and improve our products, site, and marketing, and develop new products and services;

- Service providers who run our business — e.g., Stripe (payments), ShipStation and carriers like USPS (fulfillment), Google (analytics/Site Kit), and our email and SMS marketing providers;

- Affiliates and business partners for marketing and operational purposes;

Selling / sharing. We do not sell your personal information for money. However, our use of advertising cookies and pixels to show you relevant ads may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under some state laws. You can opt out of this — see below.

We may create and use aggregated or de-identified information (which does not identify you) for any purpose, including analytics, research, and marketing, and may share it freely.

- California residents (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. To opt out of ad-related sharing, email support@reelgood.fish or use our cookie controls. We won’t discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as needed for our business, legal, tax, and accounting purposes, and may retain de-identified or aggregated data indefinitely.
Children
Our store isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy at any time; the “last updated” date reflects the current version. Continued use of the site means you accept the updated policy.
